The same people (Douthat, Weiss) who think having their ideas criticized counts as ideological policing are the same ones who can't describe oppositional ideas without using pejoratives.
This isn't about free speech, it is about having their opinions be the dominant voice in society. They would have no problem silencing those they consider 'woke'.
Until I saw this Munchkinland-like 'shop-job, I thought that the name "Douch-Hat" was merely a rude bit of schoolyard-style wordplay based on #Douthat's name.
Now, I wonder if Ross might actually have his very own #DouchHat on the top shelf of his closet.
