It’s clear Hunter Biden & other Biden family members used Joe Biden's position in government to enrich themselves from foreign $ sources. It's also clear Donald Trump & members of the Trump family used Trump's position in government to enrich themselves from foreign $ sources.…

"That’s wrong. Really wrong. And there should be a law against it. And if you can’t call out BOTH the Biden family AND the Trump family on this, you’re just an uber partisan not truly interested in reforming what’s broken."
Either you care both about Trump being sexual predator & Clinton emails, or u care about neither. But don't talk about one without the other — Matthew Dowd (@matthewjdowd) November 1, 2016
Respectfully disagree. He’s going to be the Republican Party nominee. @CNN is simply letting him reveal himself, in all his unfitness, to the American people. https://t.co/sb8r0vTWaY
— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) May 11, 2023I’m very happy with the town hall. It once again exposed how utterly unfit Trump is. I think we must do that at every opportunity. I applaud CNN, and I applaud the tough, fair, professional job @kaitlancollins did. Trump is evil. To defeat evil, you must expose it & confront it. https://t.co/Tka1LJA7vp

It's like what I call "both-sides-use-shovels" both-siderism.
One side uses shovels to plant trees. The other side uses shovels to bash people's brains in. Therefore, what We Should Be Focusing On™ is the fact that Both Sides® use shovels, therefore the tree-planters are Just As Bad™ as the brain-bashers. You either care about both the tree-planting and the brain-bashing, or neither; if you criticize the brain-bashers but not the tree-planters, you're a hypocrite.
Hello again! (That guy again?!)
BothSides™ really gets around, doesn't it?
Financial Times has a threatening little auto-blurb that prints when you attempt to C&P text from one of their articles, so I'll just share the name of the article and suggest that y'all check it out:
'Spectacle of lies': the blowback from CNN's town hall with Donald Trump
The particular quote which rang out to me appears about a third of the way down the article text, and is from David Zaslav. I have no doubt you'll notice it.
I think I can be less reserved about sharing this analysis/opinion from Robert Reich.
Everybody Knows, indeed.
Thanks for all y'all do.
Joe Walsh.
