An obvious observation over Trump having Elmo do the DOGE and find "fraud ,waste and abuse". Like making up paying for Hamas terrorists transgender surgeries. Instead of cutting the fake surgeries. Musk kills the entire Dept.
Thing is, every congressman and Senator sits on committees. Those committees are for overseeing government functions of all those depts. The judiciary committee to the Defense Dept has congressmen on those committees to oversee, to ensure proper functioning to make sure grad waste and abuse does not happen.
So why do we need them when musk is doing what he calls efficiency evaluating?
For instance, their are republicans that sit on the USAID committee. What have they been doing?? Was it Marge Green who spends her time freaking out about Jewish space lasers?
That the House used the Oversight committee and Judiciary too for two years to only investigate President Biden. for campaign smearing and the Speaker of the house already agreed to continue investigating Biden with the oversight committee and not use it to ensure fraud, waste and abuse is not rampant.
So why do we need congress? At least republicans in congress.

It is my contention that many others have become or have completely became true believers of the so called conservative idealism)s: .

Remember the Conservative ideal of small government? Reducing the national debt? Family values.
They plan on spending trillions and putting us in debt to repay it.
Pardoning criminals and appointing them as American ambassadors reflects our family?
As they rid certain parts of government they ae enlarging and creating or re establishing government to perform in the opposite manners they used to.
Like the consumer protection agency will now protect the summing of corporations from investigations of fraud instead of concerns of who got ripped off.
U.S. Chamber of commerce will remain as so the NLTB except The NLRB will work to favor the corporations and money interests of the Chamber of Commerce instead of the union worker rights.
