"How was Sunday?" you ask.
This is how it was.
On Sunday the corporate media once again celebrated the dumbed-down tide they had loosed, and everywhere the utter collapse of the Fourth Estate was in evidence.
Meet the Press is actively engaged in a misinformation campaign to refurbish the image of every white supremacist who intentionally killed 700,000 people with covid and tried to overturn the election by ending democracy

This is 100% bullshit and @chucktodd wants you to buy it https://t.co/cxVkmMfAMo
On Sunday, the irony of the Lincoln Lads suddenly getting religion on the subject of "short memories" was is so thick you could use it to insulate an arctic outpost and not lost on your 'umble scrivener.
Short memories are a threat to democracy.

“Some of these very same people, who just nine months ago were slamming Trump for his role in the Capitol riots, were now only too happy to be seen supporting him.” https://t.co/83ALer4db8
Nor was the dark hilarity of Matthew Dowd's ham-fisted opportunism in continuing his policy of automatically blocking anyone who is even mildly critical of him, only to unblock this particular guy once he noticed who he worked for.
So, @matthewjdowd was following yours truly but he can't handle even gentle criticism so he blocked me then unblocked me after figuring out what I do.

Welcome back to Texas politics, Matt #txlege
That's how Sunday was.
OTOH, Sunday was also my brother's birthday and circumstances allowed him to spend it with his daughter, son-in-law and his grandson, which is pretty terrific.
