Wuzzbuts can be fun for the whole family!
Al Franken was pressured to resign from the Senate. But Josh Hawley is a member in good standing?

Katie Hill was pressured to resign from the House. But Marjorie Taylor Greene is a member in good standing?
Well, not the whole family, obviously. For example:
Melissa Harris-Perry had a terrific show on MSNBC and was fired because reasons. But unreconstructed Iraq War pimp Bill "Always Wrong" Kristol is a member of the Beltway media in good standing who gets shoot off his mouth on teevee any time he pleases.
And:
Phil Donohue was fired from MSNBC for being right about the Iraq War. But aging shouty meathead jock and Donald Trump fluffer Joe Scarborough still has his own three hour show on MSNBC and his own byline in The Washington Post.
I would have preferred to Tweet these observations at Bill Kristol and then embed the Tweets here to preserve the unity of form, but as you know, I was suspended from Twitter for life for calling a wingnut "trash" who stepped to me online and called me "batshit crazy". Per Twitter's established procedure I appealed my suspension and have followed up twice since then, but have not heard back from them and, honestly, I don't expect to.
Or, to put it in Twitter-speak:
driftglass was an excellent Twitterer who focused on afflicting powerful people who enjoy lots of unearned clout and zero accountability., and was banned for life for responding to the insults of a wingnut by calling them "trash". But this is the everyday Twitter vocabulary of bluecheck Rick Wilson --
Did you work hard to be this much of a moron, or are you the product of a combination of enthusiastic inbreeding and a mother who spent her pregnancy huffing paint thinner while servicing her other clients in a truckstop bathroom? https://t.co/sVUubocn9m

-- who has never had endure so much as a 12-hour Twitter time-out.
Wuzzbuts.
Gotta love 'em.

I found this on MSNBC. https://www.msnbc.com/the-beat-with-ari/watch/-terrible-failure-trump-blasted-for-poor-leadership-during-coronavirus-pandemic-82414149884
"In an interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber, founding director of Defending Democracy Together Bill Kristol argues that Trump is doing a “very bad job” at leading our country through a crisis and Americans are “paying a terrible price” for his shortcomings. Kristol added that Trump has “made it much harder for other people to do the right thing” and that he’s “making our public discourse extremely stupid”. Ultimately, Kristol believes it will be a “test of the American people” to judge Trump’s performance during this critical time."
I'm not very excited by this superficial analysis that could be heard on CBS, CNBC, or PBS or Mitt Romney. Where is the analysis that can put the 21st century into context?
You're better off without Twitter. Its addictive and unhealthy. And you may find you're sometimes passing along quotes and information that later turn out not to be real. Ever forwarded that great Werner Hertzog quote that isn't actually a Werner Hertzog quote? Or have you ever wondered if you're interacting with a fake account created by a Russian troll farm? Ever get into arguments with some brain dead obnoxious Trump supporter who makes you wish the aliens from Independence Day would come back and win this time? Well now you don't have put up with any of that stuff anymore. I cancelled my Twitter account about a year and a half ago. I just read political blogs now where people actually do research before they post stuff and I think I'm way better off.
I am stilll working on how it is ,
the likes of Ted Crux, Josh Hawley, Tummy Tubberville who participated in the Trump orchestrated insurrection. Those senators who try and hide their sedition behind the dufus mayberry Goober notion they simply wanted an inquiry into election concerns that every court already brightly shined a light of rejection of no evidence on.
How in the outer space Jewish laser cannon that is used to start forest fires in Calif., but not used to ZAP Iran's Nukes.
But the republican senators that engaged in the sedition in coordination with Trump's
Great Art of the Insurrection.
How do these senators get to sit as jurists in the impeachment trial.??????????????
