“This is the job. Don't wait for it to happen. Don't even want it to happen. Just watch what does happen.”

Many thanks once again to @theologop for building it all for us!

Peggy a cupids stunt.
So here we go. The damn phone doesn't get reception from here as it turns out, so no text or phone banking. Only time will tell whether I could actually afford the donations I made, but we'll muddle through one way or another, like we have always done.
So for me, it's kinda down to typing things onto the internet and hoping.
Remember hope?
I actually seem to have some right now, and frankly it feels weird.
We'll find out next week whether it was the good sort of weird or the bad, but until then I'm trying not to trip too hard, as it won't help anything and might deplete any reserves I may have to call upon around Wednesday...
Thank you again for the podcast and happy birthday. I too will be sixty this year should I manage to survive for six more weeks. I probably will, and my birthday is also the one year anniversary of us moving into this cute little downstairs room a few minutes drive from Yosemite. So Yo! Semites! Can we please be done with this fool and get on with the repairing of the damage?
In solidarity,
-Doug in Sugar Pine

Whoops, missed your birthday. Take heart, according to recent studies, the sixties seems to be a time of personal contentment (so long as you keep bats out of your attic either literally or metaphorically).
