The knot is the nut. If 90 million homes subscribe Basic Cable and pay $100/month, frickin FUX gets a $2 slice of it.

90 Mn times $2 is $180 Mn. Per month.
$2,160,000,000 (two billion+) per year.

FUX don't need no stinkin advertisers to rake off 2 billion bucks a year.

Wait. Maybe they get half that. Only $1/mo.
Wait. Maybe 90 Mn businesses buy cable, too. Double the rake off.

btw, ad sales is (educated guessing), say, 100 spots/day @ $50,000 ($5 Mn) plus 100 spots/day $10,000 ($1 Mn) is $6 Mn per day.
Which is the same as $180 Mn per month.
I think my numbers are overestimated.

Whatever ad sales are, subscribers rake off is significant.

So, go ahead, never watch FUX News.
When you pay that cable bill each month you pay FUX no matter whether you watched or not.

These states controlled by GOP have continued for years to use a states tax revenue to fight their illegal abortion legislation. They know it is illegal legislation.

They still get to use tax dollars, That goes to attorneys out of the state and that money never returns.

The Hyde Amendment states it is unlawful to use tax dollars for abortions.

I want a law that tax dollars cannot be used for illegal lawsuits set up by unlawful legislation that was done on purpose.

The pro life, The GOP, the religious right have enough of their own money to just file their frivolous lawsuits.

If states cannot use tax dollars for abortion law suits to fight their unlawful made up and created "court standing" They have to use their own private damn money.

Why everyone in the state has to pay for their nonsense, religious zealotry is out of control and not cost effective for tax payers. But those demanding tax payers to fund their self intentional lawsuits to challenge established law.
I cannot afford it. No matter pro life or pro choice. This is to expensive. These states are used as their private piggy banks.

Warren is certainly correct about everything about Fox. But despite that she should go still do a town hall on Fox. Trump voters are not going to watch her town halls elsewhere. I know that she has been in West Virginia and that she spoke in front of a lot of Trump voters. However she will get more eyes and ears by appearing on Fox.

I'm somewhat hopeful that white women will be jolted to consciousness by the Republicans' attack on their bodily autonomy in time for the 2020 election, but I haven't forgotten what their votes so far have bought us.
I remember Melissa Harris Perry holding forth on why she wasn't surprised by Fergus' election because she had watched white women vote their race over their gender over and over.
They are making it very clear who is who and what that means, though, and I do see a path to victory there if we can just use it.
I read yesterday that there was a time when even the Catholics allowed abortion in the early stages of pregnancy, so we really need to put the whole anti-abortion propaganda down like the diseased animal that it is.
Thank you again for the podcast. Things are improving for us out here, and I'm trying to convert the medicinal aspects of the podcast into motivation.
