Rebel, rebel, your face is a mess...
God bless Parker Molloy for doing actual journalism in public by going down into the archives of Bolshi Freedom Troll Glenn Greenwald to find out what Mr. Greenwald thought of people being damn-fool enough to go on Fox News and expecting a fair shake.
From Mr. Greenwald back in 2005:
What possesses people like Andrew Fois to go on national television and prostrate themselves before dishonest partisan shills like Sean Hannity and Victoria Toensig by showering them with lavish praise before he even gets to a single point? People like Hannity and Toensig make a living by depicting Bush critics as traitors and cowards and terrorist-loving subversives, and so many of the people who are the target of their attacks feel compelled to praise them before defending themselves. Do you ever hear Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh lauding Bush critics as "great Americans" for whom they have a lot of respect? So I guess I must have been asleep for the last 14 years during which Fox News shed its unhinged, rage-drunk, conspiracy-mongering. White Power Hour, Own The Libs instincts and became a virtuous model of respectable, fair, broadminded, serious and fact-based journalism. Because what other explanation could there possibly be for the fact that the very same Glenn Greenwald who wrote this back in 2005 --
...
Why are so many Bush opponents so desperate to be liked by the people who spend their time on national television convincing the country that they are subversive losers and traitors?-- is now one of Fox News' --
-- most reliable --
-- wacky sidekicks.
Funny old world.
Behold, a Tip Jar!

I continue to wonder what triggers the dementia in people that suddenly go to join the team. Did they drink some kool-aid or something more prosaic?. Was it tax reform in GG's case? Now, in your life, is there enough capital to suddenly make you agree with Fox? What did it? I'd love to know…

Who might imagine The Intercept mission is a CIA cut-out operation put up to attract whistleblowers (such as Snowden) to bring their purloined data or secrets to The Intercept to be published but, in action, The Intercept intercepts the secrets and turns over to CIA whatever trove that is...and it's never published.
Reportedly, 10% of Snowden's documentation of CIA/NSA war crimes, (how 'bout dungeon torture murders, does that work for you?), war crimes have appeared, but 90% of the freed data has been recaptured through the The Intercept and stuffed back in the Intel Community vault.
So attacking and exposing Greenwald is in actuality going against a covert CIA agent.
Who erased all his tweets and disappeared the material Snowden handed him.
The Intercept a CIA op?
I never got the interest in The Greenwald from any angle he comes from or that I observe him from.
His love and patriotism for America is measured by his choice of where he chooses to live. I mean this guy doesn't pay taxes and gets to drive on the media toll roads that excludes most Americans from traveling on.
Ruh roh. Will ex post facto deletions now be appearing at Unclaimed Territory? Like they did with the GG Twitter purge? Its kind of surprising they haven't already. Maybe GG lost the login or password for that original Google Blogger account, which, BTW, was the no-cost, free version of a Google blog. Cf Greenwald's paid gig at The Intercept. Rags-to-riches, bitches.
He's a fame seeker. A publicity hound. No publicity hound can escape Trump's orbit.
One has to look at the money too. His patron for The Intercept is an Ebay billionaire Pierre Omidyar. There isn't such a thing as a billionaire alive with a virtuous moral or ethical philosophy. Such does not occur to them. For they are as gods themselves.
Is that a borscht stain on his tie? Is there a MAGA hat in his closet?
Why would I even entertain the notion that Greenwald is acting like Putin has kompromat on him?
So Greenwald-O fills the media role of someone to bring on, argue against reality.
promote Both sides do it when a right winger does something both sides do not do.
