Trump to pardon Charles Manson next Monday. Expected to nominate him to Homeland Security on Tuesday. The Republican Senate in their new and improved (less than 3 hour) confirmation process.
Because as a republican Senator, why waste time when you're going to confirm whomever the president nominates.
Not sure how long before McConnell changes rules to, Republican president Nomination is now an automatic confirmation. Republican president's no longer require senate approval in process.
I mean, GOP is going to confirm anyways.
But I thought Trump already had one of those at DHS ... ah, Chinese, right.
