"Richard Nixon is a no good, lying bastard. He can lie out of both sides of his mouth at the same time, and if he ever caught himself telling the truth, he'd lie just to keep his hand in." -- Harry S. Truman

In sinking the Francis Scott Key memorial bridge his lyrics were lost.
So I offer new ones, to wit:
Oh, say. must we flee from The Don's surly spite?
What so loudly he failed in the Loser's last fight.
But his ballots not there,
fake electors somewhere,
gave Truth such a fright
as the Liar's fake hair.
Oh, say, does that orange cretin
still walk about free?
Selling ugly red ball caps;
and grifting...
his ...
pee-ee-eeps?

Sung to the tune of, 'freshly poured, freshly poured'
I once wrote a thing about the damage caused by the habitual lying to children for no real reason that started out thusly: "In the wild, the price for any creature that writes mistakes into its description of the world is always the same: it becomes dinner for one that didn't." The idea behind the piece was that on some level, children are just creatures out there in the world, and millions of years of evolutionary pressure is down in there screaming at them for the casual denial of the reality they are surrounded by, and that can't be good for their well being or mental health.
FYI: The internet pet on your website is still Odin the dog.
When I was a kid, I was in the room for part of a discussion between two of my mom's bosses about 12 Angry Men, and even then it fascinated me. One of them was a hotshot criminal defense attorney, who as I remember it thought that his job would be easier if trials were really like that, and the other was what my mom called a "bread and butter" attorney, that is, someone with a huge caseload who wins them all (lots and lots of attorneys almost never take any cases they aren't certain from the outset they will win) and he seemed skeptical that his business model would hold up in such a scenario.
Again: No-one is coming to save us. We are the cavalry. The mainstream media is most likely beyond remedy as long as it is a for profit enterprise, the courts are, to some extent, still functional, but riddled with actors with agendas mucking up the works, and a full third of the electorate are too crazy and or stupid to look after themselves in the voting booth. It's kinda scary, but to me it has always been thus.
One wonders whether ivermectin is effective against brain worms.
Thank you again for the podcast. Briana is up in Miranda again, and tonight, because of the solar storm, she might be able to see an aurora.

Might I add/ pile on with doomsday prediction.
IF?
Trump wins and Senate majority goes GOP. House held by GOP majority the GOP senate gets rid of the Filibuster and passes all the repealing of the Constitution they can muster.
If the House goes Democratic majority and the Senate goes GOP with Trump as President. Senate can doesn't need to dissolve the Filibuster. They can let Trump do (abuse) his powers. SCOTUS could support it and no impeachment can happen because Trump Cultism.
GOP loves the immunity notion for the Trump because they too (the entire GOP) will enjoy it as well.
I haven't figured out why Putin hasn't ran for U.S. President himself. SCOTUS would take the case for legal consideration over his not a natural born citizen but he is running as a republican and after all if Trump signs Exec. Order to allow Putin to run. SCOTUS can sit and consider this for as long as they wish while allowing it until they make their decision.
Just think, Trump could sell parts of America to N. Korea, Putin, China and his family will live in wealth forever.
Been waiting for the SCOTUS to overturn the Cavil War and its legislation that came from it. Lincoln unconstitutionally passed laws free slaves and such.
