Speaking of Willard, you just know that somewhere he's thinking "All of the shit I took for strapping my dog's crate to the top of my station wagon one time, what would they have done if I had bragged in a book about shooting him in the head with a shotgun for being inconvenient?"
But that's the goddamn Republican party today, the party of murdering puppies and bragging about how that makes your character better.
The goddamn New York Times are indeed awful, but I still have to give them money each month in order to read Paul Krugman. They keep raising their rates, and the next time they do will be the last for me. I like Paul Krugman, but there are WAAAAYYY too many other things I could be doing with those perfectly good green American dollars. I used to be able to weasel my way around the paywall, and maybe I should look into ways of doing that again.
One of my very favorite bloggers just had her cat up and die on her, and just adopted a new kitten. After she posts some kitten pictures (because of course she will post kitten pictures) I will endeavor to convince her to let me offer said kitten pictures for IKotW consideration. She lives in Ohio and may just be the vote that keeps Sherrod Brown in the senate.
Thank you again for the podcast. It stopped raining and I managed to get my Amazon delivery up the stairs and get the trash down the stairs and across the road to the dumpster. Little victories, I know, but I'll take 'em!
