I thought some of you might find this exchange illuminating. It's between life-long hard-right Conservative termagant Mona Charen and Bulwark house-broken No Labels fanboy Bill Galston and it comes after everyone has taken a turn lavishing praise on Joe Manchin and beating Democrats like a piñata for the crime of trying to use their slim and fleeting majorities to govern as Democrats.
Charen: I'm just amazed that Democrats aren't just, y'know, getting down on their knees every day and thanking God that they have a Democratic senator in West Virginia. What's wrong with that analysis?
Galston: Most of them don't thank God for anything.

I'm just amazed that Mona Charen and the rest of these dyspeptic, dispossessed Conserative aristocrats aren't getting down on their knees every day and thanking God that the Democratic party they have worked their whole lives maligning and obstructing still has enough firepower to stand up to the Republican monster they have spent their wholes lives creating.

Haven't republicans made it clear a long time ago.
That only republicans are allowed to govern, no matter if Democrats have a majority.
How often do we hear them tell u, "For the American people".
We made it so wealthy people and the corporations that are owned by wealthy people do not have to pay any federal taxes.
Because that is what all real patriotic Americans want. At least that excuse is what the Lobby money (bribed cash) paid to word spinners companies to be sold to us as their reasoning. And that tax money saved can pay republicans to campaign, to blare over individual constituents voices. To To operate a Federalist Society (tax exempt) to get the republican contract to select SCOTUS justices for life time positions that will check with the wealthy before making any ruling.
MERICAN YEARN FOR JUSTICES TO DO LEGAL FAVORS FOR THE WEALTHY THAT PAYS NO FEDERAL TAXES THAT FUND OUR ENTIRE LEGAL SYSTEM. but, GETS TO Have their specific selected puppets put in charge for life.
Because the peon rubes will obey the SCOTUS to respect the System these masters of the universe paid to have enforced on us, not themselves.
It is the justice system of do as I say, not as the special people do.
Got to say, it won't be long before that constitution preamble (pesky_ phase of , "We the people". I revisited and the high court rules it to be omitted because they just know. The founders did not really meant.
