Birthday Fundraiser Day Three: An Embarrassment of Riches

"What do you want for your birthday?" they asked.

Well, if you could you arrange it so a Rick Wilson-brand Lincoln Lads tone-deaf ratfucking stunt backfires and kisses the goat at both ends so hard that their incompetent fuckery becomes the story...

Done.

From the WaPo --

Lincoln Project organized a group to carry torches at Youngkin event in Charlottesville

From The Guardian

Lincoln Project members pose as white supremacists at Virginia GOP event

The Lincoln Project has confirmed it was behind a political stunt in which five members posed as white supremacists carrying tiki torches at a campaign stop for Glenn Youngkin, the Republican candidate for governor in Virginia, in Charlottesville ahead of election day next week.

...

Progressive commentators condemned a stunt which one activist, Elizabeth McLaughlin, called “disrespectful, dangerous and dumb”.

From The Hill:

Lincoln Project says it sent people with tiki torches to Youngkin event

“No one who actually understands what’s at stake in Virginia,” McLaughlin added on Twitter, “let alone the threat of white supremacist terrorism and the ACTUAL death and destruction at Charlottesville, could do this.”

From Newsweek:

Lincoln Project Says It Sent People With Tiki Torches to Glenn Youngkin Campaign Bus

Anything else?

Wow.  Ok, but by "hard backfire" I mean they cannonball into a kiddie pool of shit with enough very public kinetic stupidity that their dumbassery splashes onto their intended beneficiary.  Mind you I want McAuliffe to win, but apparently people need yet another lesson about what happens when you let the Lincoln Lads grab the steering wheel.  So this lesson should be hard enough that the campaign spokesperson of their intended beneficiary is forced to distance the campaign from the Lincoln Lads and demand that they apologize.

Done.

Also from Newsweek:

Lincoln Project Adviser Stuart Stevens Defends Tiki Torch Stunt Amid Backlash

...

The stunt has faced backlash from Republicans and Democrats alike. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe's campaign manager Chris Bolling called it "disgusting and distasteful" and urged the Lincoln Project to "immediately apologize."

Anything else?

Well damn, as long as you're offering, is there any way you could induce Glenn Spleenwald to shove his bloated ego into the middle of this story?  Because hating Democrats is what gets ol' Glenn out of his crypt in the morning.  And what they hell, could you make it so Glenn does his little rage fandango on Tucker Carlson's White Power Hour?

Done.

Anything thing else?

Well, I hate to be greedy since you've already been so generous, but since you're still asking, is there any way you could also get Mrs. Federalist involved here somehow?

Maybe convincer her of the urgent need to shoot off her big dumb bazoo over this kerfuffle in a way that the sheer cartoonish hypocrisy of it could leave a person laughing so hard they pee themselves?

Of course this kind of five-cushion media asshole bank shot is so far beyond anything...

Done.

Anything thing else?

You know what, this is plenty for now.

More than plenty.

More than any disreputable Liberal blogger had any right to hope for in the first place.

Good morning, Mr. Glass.

The Lincoln Project did...

...is THIS why Tucker Carlson's doing that special about how the destruction of Alderaan by the Death Star was a false flag operation?

And these are the motherf*ckers who want to dictate how the Democratic Party should behave? Sheesh.

On an unrelated subject, a belatedly happy anniversary of your birthday.

Best to you and your loved ones.

This was the moment when the LP karma was revealed in real time, instead of in a post election analysis. Their methods, their ethics, and how their bloated egos make things much worse, completely exposed. Because how could they not when they are who they are?

But it won't stop them from being darlings of many liberals, who believe they should be paid millions of dollars for producing bombastic video collages with all the skills and insight that you'd expect from a high school student.
