Memorial Day thought.
A a veteran myself. There are items I can look back on when placed into a situation where you must kill them before they kill you. Because in those places, there is NO Falling.
I looked to ideals of which I risked and fought when pressures distracted to hold sanity.
Ideals like, "We the people, for the people and by the people" of the pre amble of the constitution. Honorable ideals to strengthen ones resolve.
When I hear all the bumbling to offer s a shred of respect for despicable and dishonorable behavior by the very elected who swore an oath. but sell that oath and representation to the highest bidding lobbyist and to the political party leader who demands you vote as he says and not as their people expect.
There is NO Shame. There is no honorable act in doing it but they do.
Cover up for Russian propagandizing Americans in an American election. Approving a president's use of his power of office to extort Ukrainian government to provide a false investigation of his political election opponent. To organize and plan an insurrection of the election to stay in power and keep republicans in power as GOP congressmen soiled the honor of those they are obligated to represent and do it honorably.
This includes some republicans that served their country as well. But did they really serve honorably. They truly do not serve in Congress under their oath of office honorably. What is there to make me think their service in the military was. I know there are slime in the military and most are
weeded out. There are some that do not as I offer Mike Flynn as Exhibit 1.
These folks will tell you how to believe and have religious faith, they will tell you their interpretation of the 2nd Amendment written by the NRA and paid through campaign donations to recite. They will not only sell their representation to lobbyists at the expense of "we the people' They will give their representation to their party leader and cover up, lie and repeat that lie because the party leader demands it. So Muy senators cannot represent me because a senator from another state tells him not to. Not only that, when my senator has a moment of legislation to represent me, there is the national political party, the state political party heishe belongs that get represented. With all the other higher up totem plea figures. Then my senator represents some sort of political conservative imaginary principals and ideals comes next. Even though he never held to those principals prior.
They dishonor our Dead on Memorial day. Dishonor our veterans on Veterans day. dishonor the American citizens I served and fought for. And, at long last. They dishonor me.
What adds to this,
There are devout political ideologues of that political party who will not only sit by and allow someone as me dishonored. they will support and cheer it on.
So everyone, enjoy our Memorial Day.
Knowing the same political party that says they love America. Are the same ones that denigrate Americans in everything they do.
Paul Ryan can fuck right off. After so carefully cultivating his entirely fraudulent and substance free media image as a smart conservative budget guy, one can only hope that it galls the fuck out of him to watch the latest crop of Republicans get more media coverage without even bothering.
But he serves as a reminder that Republicans have been a media construct long before they anointed Fergus as their Head Troll in Charge.
Good to hear the ad for Crock Blockers again, especially given their recent retail resurgence.
Thank you for all 600 episodes. I don't know whether I've heard them all or not as there were a couple of years, 2013 through 2015, when I didn't have access to streaming internet, but even then, Briana used to go to a friend's place and download them and bring them to me on a flash drive. I still have dozens of them in a folder with my videos. She may have missed a few, but I have definitely listened to all of the ones she brought me.
Congratulations on the graduations.
