Could you post the link to the source for that estate tax data? Really like to pass that around to some people I know.

Internet Maga Person: This bill will cost each American $17,000!
Me: So you will be refusing your payment then?
IMP: God no, are you crazy? Nobody refuses money.
Me: Nobody except Republican governors who John Roberts says can refuse to expand Medicaid...
IMP: No fair remembering stuff!

Yeah, this has been a good week. I mean it snowed two feet again and that was a bit of an annoyance, but we really do need the snow here, and Briana has figured out that if you shovel it right away it's much easer to move.
While she was shoveling, our neighbor from up the hill stopped to talk to her, and she told him that if the tamale ladies were back at the shopping center Friday, she would snag him some, and he said sure, maybe we can all go up to his place and make dinner soon.
The tamale ladies were, in fact, at the shopping center, and we did buy up their last 18 tamales, and our neighbor did stop by last night after work, and that is how I managed to drink the first beer I've had since 2008... And it was a Corona. I don't know whether he was making a joke or more probably, the hotel where he works gets a deal on them.
But god damn, those tamales are good.
Krugman also pointed out the major dent this bill just made in the Reagan revolution, and I thought to myself, fuck, that's some potent evil that it took us forty years and a pandemic to make a dent in it.
But we did it.
And those health care provisions that have to expire at the end of next year because of reconciliation just made the midterms all about reelecting Democrats and saving your healthcare, or electing Republicans and losing it.
And you're damn right Chuck Schumer came through, with no margin for error and using a Republican's absence to deal with a family issue to avoid even having Vice President Harris (god it feels good typing that) have to break a tie.
And don't forget Nancy Pelosi. We just kinda take it for granted that she'll always have the votes, but that is an extraordinary thing. Ryan or Boehner didn't always have the votes, and one could not count on them to pass a modified bill that got bounced back to them the next day.
Thank you again for the podcast. I'm thinking of starting a punk band and calling it Plastic Potato Pronouns. Sure, it sounds stupid, but at least I can spell potato...

As CNN Brianna Keilar put it,

Maybe he (Tucker) doesn't realize his comments are weakening the military. After all, he wouldn't know a deployment from a trip to Nantucket or a rocket launcher from a lacrosse stick.

I can only figure Carlson is a pussy in a boy's body.

Like Rush who wanted attention like this for inane issues just for the attention for someone to grab him by the pussy and Trump probably has.
I am sure Tucker fully respects the heroic valor of 5 deferment Vietnam war heroes like Mitt Romney (religious) Dick Cheney ( "better things to do), And Trump, "commander bone spurs".
Did I mention Rush and how he single handedly won the battle of Hanoi.

One of those issues I think Tucker can be trying to draw attention from is, The Dems pandemic relief act. That is Trickle up for the first time since Regan. No we can piss down their backs and tell them it is raining.

This trickle up economics is a big deal to me. Enough of the wall street bail outs while everyone else has their homes taken from those banks that were bailed out.
It is what all the GOP and their media and paid donors have shifted their speeding to.

They are in panic, they did not have to produce shit with republicans and now these corporate fiefdoms are going to need to earn their money instead of getting everyone else money redistributed to them so they can be the royal trickle downers there want to be.

I am listening to white house press conferences again. I rather watch videos of Champ and Major before watching Tucker any day.

There is no reason or excuse to have Tucker to the White House but......
With one of Biden;;s dogs performing bite chomping security on the grounds.
It would be something to see how his dogs screen Carlson if he were at the White House.
Dogs are for the most have good character judgement of humans.
It is a White House security task I do not think cats are suited for.
So Tucker being screened by Major or Champ would be telling. As you know, doges were used in Terminator to detect robots sent from the future to destroy the world..
