It seems like only yesterday when the Spleenwald Horde was positively barnacling my comment section every day with stern chastisements about my lack of Liberal purity. As if a switch had been flipped, even some people who had followed me from the earliest days -- from The News Blog days -- would come around to excoriate me for being a [checks notes] jackbooted, drooling O-bot sellout tool of fascism. And beyond the scolding, there were real world consequences. I was boycotted. Cast out. Allies who knew better stood aside and stayed quiet out of fear that the Horde would visit them too. Traffic to my little independent, reader-supported blog dropped dramatically, and the trickle of income I get from this blog fell to a trickle of a trickle.
So I wonder, now that Ol' Glenn is pretty much Tucker Carlson's full-time running buddy on his Fox News White Power Hour --

It looks like criticizing Bernie (or his supporters) has replaced the casus belli of attacking GG.
Unlike the forgotten Coal miner or the oppressed Charles Koch's voice of Humane, equality, Freedom and pure of faith purchasing of the GOP. To suppress their voices of their alternative Freedom. And when I say , "their". I mean Rupert Murdoch, Koch, Mercer, industrial strength financial suppressed voice of their version/vision of Freedoms for us and then their freedoms for them.
Who just cannot be heard, unrepresented by the SCOTUS hudges theypaid to breed in the labs of Federalist Society and Heritage to independently rule as their paid robots from the highest court in the land in their behalf. Even then, it is such a oppressed burden to have to pay and maintain those human properties to ensure you have a voice with the government you cannot just take over like an industry hostile takeover to install you. You want your slavish employee to do what you say and when you say it.
Which fives you the FREEDOMsS your are entitled to from your dreams of becoming a dictator.
You can then have the freedom to call in your orders from your yacht and not be oppressed by doing it yourself.
Let you money rule. If their is enough greed, your paid voice will not only be heard but become your reality.

Yes, Greenwald is a narcissistic fool -- but, unfortunately, he was saying things that (as far as I can tell from my research) are true about Ms. Tandem. That doesn't make having a spew-fest on Carlson a good thing; but it does highlight that Ms. Tandem has a bumpy road ahead: seems she is loathed not only by all on the right(and who cares), but also by a good number on the far right. And it also highlights Greenwald IS capable of telling the truth, but he chooses to do so only when it makes Dems look bad.
No. He is never capable of telling the truth unless you mean Russian approved versions of the truth. When he was a lawyer he fought for Neo Nazi's and when he "decided" to switch to journalism he became one thing always -- anti US Government. If a Liberal was President he was anti DEM President & if a Republican was President he was anti Republican until Trump. Why? Because Trump was Putin's boy so therefore GG became the attacker of trump enemies.
When he wrote for Liberals at Salon I started to smell a rat almost immediately. So I went to work, a friend of mine and I investigated and without too much trouble (��) found a thread running through his early life and it all began to make way more sense, but I don't think I knew about your site at the time because had I known I would have taken up for you with everything I could muster and shown them enough dirt to make them at least use their noggins.
I'm thinking GG has the potential to be the next Lyndon LaRouche.
Here's my understanding of Greenwald. He's actually a doctrinaire libertarian with nutty and impractical notions of the way the should work but never will.
Libertarians all live in a fantasy land. They postulate an impossible utopia and then, like Milton Friedmann, look the other way when 3000 people are slaughtered to bring it into existence under Pinochet in Chile.
Anyone on the left who ever thought that Greenwald was an ally was not reading him very closely.
I have always found him annoying, and his tendency to personalize policy issues is really destructive to civil discourse. At the same time, his own self-regard just invites my mockery.
It's not that he has never done any good. But, like most high-achievers, he's an asshole or he wouldn't have achieved what he has.
