More concerned now than when she got the word of this plan at the Senate GOP briefing before she left to go home to her couch. That same couch she stands with republican senators with over telling those lazy working class to get off the couch and get back to their jobs. That aren't there anymore.
The answer is yes. Lazy couch republican senators who are not working for a month still get full pay, health care and their pensions continue to get paid into.
So who needs any stinking COBRA health plan? Right?
One of the impeachment managers' strongest arguments was "If he has managed to subvert the US government for political gain like he has, what is he likely to do if we let him get away with it?"
I don't recall any of them speculating that he might dismantle the Postal Service in order to steal the election, but that is what the damn fool is doing.
I saw a postal employee say on Twitter that the USPS handles three billion pieces of mail the week before Christmas, so the idea that they couldn't handle a mail in election was pure bullshit. The only way it could be true is sabotage, and that's what this is, plain and simple.
Briana's mom lives in a nursing home and as of a month ago, there were no covid cases there.
Then she fell and broke her hip, and now has been released from the hospital back to the nursing home where she and twenty other residents have tested positive for covid.
Briana found this out on a phone call this morning from her mom's cousin, who along with this news, informed Briana that Trump is being lied about in the news, and that he's actually helped the economy and black people more than any other president.
Briana, who needs relations with her to be sound for a variety of reasons, just let it go, as there is no reconciling "Trump is good" with "your mom in the nursing home has covid" and as we really like this woman, we just got even angrier at the purveyors of lies and insanity than we already were.
Thank you again for the podcast. Yesterday there were seven Canada geese on the mill pond, but they all looked smaller than the size I remember Otto being, so we think they're not him. Perhaps the pond is a regular stop in the annual migration and we'll see many more.
Yesterday we also saw what we think was a stork or a heron on the other side of the pond, so we are likely to get to know even more water birds than the geese and the family of mallards whose ducklings are now as large as their parents. A few families of turkeys live around the pond and on the Christian Camp land that adjoins it.
You know is not going to be swayed by Fergus' "She was so nasty to Judge Kavanaugh" argument? All of those millions of women who are still royally pissed that the squirming toad made it onto the supreme court.
Drop boxes and the local registrar's office are the next counter move to the apparently successful sabotage of the Postal Service. After that we must also be prepared to counter Cheat Plan B, because you know damn well that they have one.

We are going to see much more of what republican senators are willing to let him go. They will take no responsibility and when need be, blame Trump or Pelosi and AOC.
Just like when and if Biden wins the election. The remaining GOP will blame Biden for all of Trump's failures as they attempted (in their minds did successfully blame) Obama.
Yes I had Jim (GW Bush) Jones followers tell me straight faced that Obama signed the bail out and was responsible for the collapse of 2008 and could not speak their own name when I asked then how it could be with GW Bush's signature was on the bail out in 2008. The economic crash occurred n 2008 while GW was president and Obama did not become president until late jan. when he was inaugurated and that they should know that because they were also spewing McConnell's number one priority statement during Obama;s inauguration which was, to make Obama a failed one term president even if America had to fail.

A bit more complicated than one of those scam phone calls telling you they are calling from the Social Security office and need you social security number and other information to straighten out your account.
I think that at the very least, I mean the very very least, the lame duck is gonna be a wild ride.
Perhaps if we keep the screws to Fergus 24/7 until (and after) the election, he will be so bored and demoralized with the whole affair that he won't feel like fucking with it any more for a while.
And perhaps that while will be long enough for us to get some of the accountability going that we didn't get post GWB.
That's my cheery and optimistic take on the immediate future. I have others, but fuck them, we have to work our best angle while we still can.
