Have you had your Liberal Life Guard annual retraining?

Know how to rescue a panicking drowning person (or human sized rat that can''t swim).

They will pull you down with them. And, they will never have a rational explanation for their behavior to tell St. Peter at the pearly underwater gates.

Keep in mind as pertains to Texas. As limited of testing that is done. They are going to test Whites. White with guns, GOP whites, Whites that speak with a TWANG, Whites that can speak Mexican.
In other words, everyone in Texas.

Gov. Abbott's response to the spike is to ignore it and note all the hospital capacity available (beds and ventilators). The capacity is there because we've been sheltering in place for the last two months. He knows that, but a large chunk of his voters fail to see the logic. And so they storm the hair salons, restaurants, and gyms and seek battle. I'm sure they are who Homer and Shakespeare had in mind when writing about war.

Also, I have a graduate degree and have actually lost weight while sheltering, so not everything is bigger and stupider in Texas. I get the stereotype, it's still somewhat true, but when I arrived here two decades ago this was a 60-40 Republican state. Now it's 55-45 and falling. Way too slowly, but there are gains.
