Georgia governor to reopen some businesses as early as Friday as other states signal similar plans
Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp announced Monday that certain businesses can reopen this week in a move that breaks from the majority of state leaders and defies the warnings of many public health officials.
Kemp said specifically that fitness centers, bowling alleys, body art studios, barbers, hair and nail salons, and massage therapy businesses can reopen as early Friday, April 24. Theaters and restaurants will be allowed to open on Monday, April 27, while bars and night clubs will remain closed for now...

These red state governors are doing this because they know full well that the brain dead zombies are the majority of voters in their state, so they don't have to worry about this hurting them politically at all. And what do I mean by brainwashed zombies? I mean people who will judge the reopening of the state in one of two ways:
1. It went better than expected - "Thank you Republican governor and President Trump. We knew this whole thing was fake."
2. It went worse than expected - "Damn those liberals for impeaching the President. They made this happen"

The 30% zombie base are in mass horde in the full blood moon of the GOP primaries.
If liberty to them equates to raping their 5 year old daughters. They will meet with Trump to have AG Barr write a constitutional liberty memo to keep them out of prison long enough to get their vote.
It won;t surprise me when most of them die from the Trump plague because they did not say their prayers as a true religious right winger special for immunity.
I was stumped when I saw this yesterday because, as you know in more detail than I, these businesses are not going to do much for any local economy. Even if people start patronizing them, which is doubtful. Steve M has a post up with his theory, which is better than the nothing I have.
These businesses are mostly populated by minimum-wage workers, who also happen to usually vote Democrat. So, if they all die of COVID-19, mission accomplished!!
