Republicans Reach Steps Three and Four

As you already know, for the convenience of you the reader, I recently posted a handy, pocket-sized version of the playbook which Republicans will be running during and after the COVID19 pandemic.

It was actually breeze to write because it is literally nothing more than exactly the same fucking Deflect/Deny playbook Republicans have been running over and over again for decades, and against which your 'umble scrivener has been inveighing in vain over and over again for decades.

Here is Step Three of the Republican party's all-occasion Deflect/Deny playbook:

3) Finally accept the problem.  After which they will insist that the situation is now so bad that there is no time to time to worry about about how thing got so bad or who was right and who was wrong. However... 

And here is President Cornered Rat's Fake Press Secretary yesterday:

4)  This will not stop them for hunting for a scapegoat -- an Emmanuel Goldstein at whose feet all guilt will be laid.  And yes, you can be damn sure that however bad things get, the crazy Libtards will be blamed for either causing the problem or making it worse.

And here is President Cornered Rat himself yesterday:
