Hey, What's That Glenn Greenwald Fella Up To These Days?

You know, usual stuff.

Despite Bernie Sanders telling his supporters to cut this shit out, Glenn Greenwald -- Bernie Bro Number One -- was on Tucker Carlson's Fox News White Power Hour for the umpteenth time, this time to spread dark conspiracy claptrap about dementia and Sekrit Obama Plots against the Glorious Revolution.
Honestly, if you can't get your own guy to shut the fuck up for five minutes because he is definitely not helping your cause, I have to wonder how successful a President Sanders would be negotiating with Vladimir Putin.

Or Kim Jong-un.

Or Mitch McConnell.

Or, hell, Kyrsten Sinema, or any other congressional Democrat who may not be down with The Revolution.

And not for nothing, but I did try to warn about Spleenwald.

I really did.

I Told You So

Libertarian Glenn is a BernieBro? Boy, that's some crossover.

Greenwald is like Bill Maher with 50 points of IQ - It doesn't help.

Glenn has no real ideology other than being a raving loon who thinks the DEMOCRATIC ESTABLISHMENT (a group that, bless their hearts, has trouble organizing a one car funeral procession) is behind everything bad that happens everywhere always.

He's a parody of a parody of himself at this point. At best. A total and utter clown.

I was born in 1950. I worked as a Union Carpenter from 1975 until my career ended early in Aug. 2008. By Feb. 2010 my health insurance expired. About the same time, emergency extensions of unemployment insurance were ended. The national unemployment rate was near 10 %. Construction rate was almost 25%. Maybe I missed it but I don't remember much more than a collective shrug and "We tried." from the Dems. I do remember the effort Obama/Biden put into the Grand Bargain/Grand Sellout with Boehner while they waited for "the fever to break in the GOP." Nevertheless, I voted for Obama again in '12 and Hillary in '16 (voted for Bernie in '16 Michigan primary) as lesser of evils. I voted for Bernie in today's Mi. primary but will "Vote Blue etc." because the GOP has been:
Tricky since Dicky
Loud Wrong since Reagan
Dangerous and Dumb since Dubya
Traitorous since Trump

Mr. Glass, I love your work but do you really think Bernie can control what Spleenwald says? Also,if Moscow Mitch is still Senate Majority leader next term we are well and truly fucked no matter who is Pres.

Is that David Sirota with Greenwald? I thought he was smarter than that!

That will leave a mark on both of them.

How is it GG and pals are unaware that Trump needs help within his own political party primary. Where he has two main opponents.
1) Mr Libby Hoax Coronavirus and 2) EX Gov. Weld.

With Mr Coronavirus even in the pols with Trump. You think these best people Trump knows and are vying for a White House paycheck. That they would be advising Trump/GOP.

Help where it is needed.
How is it Trump voters watch these guys giving their advice to the left?

I agree with your sentiment Mr. Hamster. You have a few years on me (dob1957) but my experiences are similar. What GG or Chapo say means nothing to me. I don't share the belief that we had a great field to choose from but I've never doubted Bernies sincerity.

Greenwald is a clown but I don't see how Bernie is obligated to shut him up. Greenwald doesn't work on Bernie's campaign.
Moreover, the idea that this has anything to do with negotiations with foreign heads of state is absurd.

This is an odd post, criticizing Bernie for being responsible for a rogue leftist intellectually dishonest spotlight seeker. Sanders' campaign has been a pure progressive movement and it engenders a lot of passion and support from people. A recent article in Salon talked about research from a social scientist who looked at data from Twitter that showed the Bernie Bros aggression is a myth. It's another weapon used against Sanders. I don't think even the myth of a supposed hyper-aggressive contingent of Sanders' supporters has anything to do with Bernie's ability to manage foreign leaders. It also doesn't mean much as tonight's primaries seem to have all but sunk his campaign. So much for the progressive movement going mainstream.

Greenwald likes to be famous. He's a publicity hound. It's best to understand all well known political talkers and politicians in the same light. Trump most of all of course. Instead of twisting your mind into knots trying to figure out how Greenwald's causes and associations make logical sense just understand he is motivated by getting his face on TV.

Thanks for your reply.I was luckier than many. 2010 was terrifying but I was able to start drawing my Carpenter's Pension at age 60 and Social Security at 62. I have always wondered how the younger carpenters, with kids and mortages made it. The GOP has always been anti-union and anti-Social Security. The Dems at least pretended they were for both. That's why the Grand Bargain with Boehner still enrages me. I guess I vote blue because I have to. Good Luck to you.

Greenwald is a Russian stooge. There is no other explanation for what that putz is saying or where he is saying it.

Actually, I think he is, at heart, a nutty libertarian, and pretty consistent in that regard.
