Congratulations and thank you for ten years. Ten years ago I was living in Mirthworks, an artists collective (sort of) on Peralta street in West Oakland, which has since been "redeveloped" (read that the neighborhood has been gentrified beyond recognition).
In early 2016, in the middle of the third of five forced moves, we stayed a week in an AirB&B in El Cerrito with some kids who grew medical pot and loved Bernie. I remember feeling bad for them because they were about to have their hearts broken. Their fervor was such that I didn't try to engage with them about the mountain of lies they were spreading and consuming regarding Hillary Clinton, and instead just hoped that their passion wouldn't be fully quenched and turned to vengeful bitterness when Bernie lost, as I knew he would even then. I still hope that.
Man, that seems like an echo of a more innocent time to think about; we were all excited that week because Scalia had died and we were about to get another sane justice on the supreme court...
So we need to grow the fuck up a little this time (we meaning me and mine). It can't matter how sweet they are, if they're spreading lies, they will hear about it. Although we don't have too many neighbors up here, and many of them are right wing Christian-y types who vote Republican... Imagine the shock of going from having Barbara Lee as my congresswoman to Tom McClintock.
So we have some work to do. Which got me thinking: the steady exodus from the mass gentrification is transplanting liberals like me to more affordable and more conservative areas like Madera County, which hasn't voted for a Democratic president since Carter. We'll just have to see what kind of a dent I can make in that.
Thank you again for the podcast. It was good to hear others refer to you as a dose of sanity, as sanity is really fucking important right now.

GOP coasting to their reelection victories.
Jue Jewitt and his recreation of Rushbo's failed voter scheme to shoe in Trump. Because Trump is so beloved .
He will vote Democratic primary for Sanders and that, that will blow up the entire Democratic primary process. As all of his 2 or 3 followers do the ssame thing as well.
Isn't the GOP the ones with the bg Deep State government voter ID control to get rid of all the voter fraud and misdoings?
Hewy will have to rigister democratic to vote in the primary for Sanders. Then register back to republican for the general election.
It is over folks. Hewitt by himself has reelected Trump.
But who are Hewitt's following His old radio show listeners began calling in calling him a RINO. Like Charlie Sykes. They left the log cabin republicans for QANON and NAZIS.
So other than Chuck Todd. Where is the demand for hearing what the Hewitt has to say now of how he plotted to come up with his evil freedom loving scheme to undermine democracy.
Because, for Hue, this displays his total confidence in his espoused Omen of the chosen one.
Just think, After 10 years of your advancing good over evil.
