Turns Out, The Entire Republican House Oversight Committee "Strategy" Comes Down To...

No kidding.

Who knew that building an entire party out of incompetent bigots and raving imbeciles would have consequences?

Would like to provide a Pelican brief to the Court of Professional Left.

A brief in alliance with the posted title..

Exhibit #1
Cohen testimony to the Republican majority controlled House investigative committees.

Exhibit #2
Cohen testimony to the Democratic majority controlled House investigative committee.

GOP Majority summary from first hearing;
Nothing to see here in the first hearing and Cohen just doing the Lord's work.
GOP Minority Summary (2nd hearing);
How dare Democrats bring a known convicted liar to the House committee. A criminal who lied to Congress. A man no doubt sold his soul to the Devil himself.

I ask the Pro Left Court Justices to consider my Friend of the Court Brief. Thank you.

You know in any non-Fox-infected universe the selection pressure of elections would weed out the inferior Congresscritters by Dawinian processes, leaving only those with at least the IQ of a houseplant standing. Just one more feature of democracy the GOP has chosen to forego by giving up on promoting an honest news media.

'Free market consequences,'perhaps, in a too-common destitution we've seen too often.

And my point is to point at ClubOrlov.com blog of Dimitry Orlov.

Because: his prose dances.
Because: his topic is truths hard to handle.
Because: his work is regular Tues. and Thur. free for 48 hours then moved behind paywall.

So go now to see Feb.26 post, 'things get worse.'

Oh, baby, the special styling gripped me like sci fi used to in my heyday of it.
'Things get worse' reminds me of and rhymes with great driftglass works.
