The only upside: After a 5 year campaign to be somebody/anybody's go-to wingman, GG ends up on Faux Noise with the FNC luminary who is soon to become a tech challenged YouTuber.
Anyway, one wonders why any Fake Noise brainwashed chunderhead would give one iota of a crap whether Tulsi Gabbard is being attacked, whether "fairly" or unfairly.
It's all just so odd that Fixed Nooz has GG on to spew this kinda stuff anyway.
As someone else said somewhere else, Gee Whiz, GG simply has nothing of any note to report on from the country where he's currently domiciled. Simply nothing there to discuss... Pay no attention to that anti-gay dictator in Brazilia.
Because of course for Tucker, Tulsi Gabbard is the SEE!-Liberals-are-the REAL-intolerant-hatemongers! political strawman for his nightly justifications of white man who have never heard of Tulsi Gabbard but are so scared of losing privilege and power that they are embracing far right autocrats, dictators, and strong men.
and of course GG would be brought on to second that talking point as he can only see liberal America's faults, stripped of all context and nuance, from his Rio penthouse.
Does anyone know when GG started down the road to this ignoble lapdoggery?
I hear (from the wise old folk with whom I trade for stories of the before-times) that he was once a trustworthy source and not a turncloak douchehose.
Is that true? Or did I just give away my last bottle of Cointreau to a total blagger?
GG's descent into willful liberal hater and general douchbaggery, to my (admittedly faulty) memory, happened some time after Matt Taibbi left his independent news outlet First Look though it's hard to remember all of GG's ridiculousness chronology. I certainly considered him a trusted source of investigative news through the Bush years. When he defended Trump and minimized the relevancy of possible Russian links to him, I genuinely was confused. I still don't get how someone who once seemed to have concise, sharp and smart political commentary that held people accountable to facts and credible thinking, could become the type of shithead he used to rail against. Now I just don't care enough to bother thinking about him at all. Whatever happened to him, he's clearly off his nut.
