Professional Left Podcast: Special Time-Travel Edition

Before we were The Professional Left -- hell, before we were married -- Blue Gal and I were the "Driftglass and Blue Gal Podcast".  Junior dude (11 at the time, and who will be starting his sophomore year at college this Fall) helped with our show opening.  We were figuring it all out, so it sounds a little rough.  We had no fake sponsors.  We had no Internet Angel building us gorgeous websites.  We had few regular listeners.  We has not yet been written up in our local paper.  It was just us, trying to make sense of what was happening to the world.

And what were the burning issues of the day back on July 2, 2010?

The economy and the GOP trying to pretend it gives a shit about the working class.
The racism of the fake Tea Party.
Me getting laid off.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose, baby :-)

Enjoy.

It's the Economy, Stupid (Special "Driftglass Got Laid Off Again" Edition)

July 01, 2010

The recently laid-off Driftglass and his blogger colleague Blue Gal discuss why conservatives must never discuss the working man's economy, what death row inmates have in common with WalMart employees, and the difference between the late Senator Robert Byrd's former Klan membership, and run-of-the-mill Tea Party racism. Visit our website, dgbgpodcast.blogspot.com, for past episodes, how to write us and how to contribute to the show.
