On Today's Episode of "As The Churl Turns"...

Your Honor, in my client's defense, the crank he tried to buy from his dealer was really shitty.

Donald Trump Jr.’s stunning admission to the New York Times

Donald Trump Jr. has made a potentially damaging New York Times report much, much worse.

The Times on Sunday reported that the president's eldest son was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton before meeting with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer at Trump Tower in New York on June 9, 2016.

As Times reporters Jo Becker, Matt Apuzzo and Adam Goldman explained, Trump Jr.’s motivation for agreeing to the meeting “points to the central question in federal investigations of the Kremlin’s meddling in the presidential election: whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. The accounts of the meeting represent the first public indication that at least some in the campaign were willing to accept Russian help.”

Paul Manafort, the campaign’s chairman at the time, and Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and adviser, also attended.

Needless to say, the report looks bad for the president, even though his private legal team told the Times that Trump did not participate or even know about the meeting. Trump has a go-to playbook in situations like these: cast doubt on the credibility of unnamed sources (five, in this case) and cry, “Fake news!”

But Trump Jr. took that strategy off the table with a stunningly compromising first response...

Trump Jr. confirmed that he went into the meeting expecting to receive information from the Russian lawyer that could hurt Clinton. That is a breathtaking admission.
...
And even The Script Keeper herself --

-- cannot deploy bullshit booms and skimmers fast enough to keep Stupid Junior's epic rake-stepping gavotte from seeping into every news outlet in the land:

And speaking of dealing with the media, have I mentioned how very, very, very, very, very, very much I am looking forward to Stupid Junior's press conference?

Would it be impolite of me to say that I'm looking forward to- The Trials?

Two possibilities obtain at this point to my non-legal mind: charges will be brought against the whole circle: Stupid, Jr. the Prince, Ukraine Paul, etc. and Trump will pardon all of them before the fact in exchange for resigning as President. After which, he will be prosecuted for the multitudinous crimes and his family have committed that are unrelated to the hacking and they'll go to prison for a long time.
Or...
Mueller's investigation will bring all the charges before the Congressional leadership (both GOP and Democrats) warning them that the country's electoral and defense integrity is at jeopardy because of the widespread Russian cyberhacking and Trump collusion. Congress forces Trump to resign in exchange for not trying him and his family on high treason and related crimes. After he resigns, the whole gang is indicted for money laundering, fraud and related financial crimes.
Or
He somehow gets away with everything, Scots-free.

Sadly, I think outcome #3 is most likely. 😩

The Trump crime family took out "busted" insurance. They have the attorney on retainer to put up bail.

That insurance policy is, VP Mike Pence.

Who will play the religious hymn of God spoke to me and commanded pardons for the most vulnerable addicted to corruption.
I can hear the same pipe organ music ( as the monkey with the tin cup collects defense funds) as when Scooter Libby's prison sentence was commuted.

To live happily and wealthy enough comfortably ever after.

The Ford Stockholm loyalty syndrome.

Hey, none of this calling the Trump litter stupid!
Don Jr. has already pointed out that they come from superior breeding stock and, like their father, are genetically superior to ordinary schmoes:

“Like him, I'm a big believer in race-horse theory. He's an incredibly accomplished guy, my mother's incredibly accomplished, she's an Olympian, so I'd like to believe genetically I'm predisposed to [be] better than average.”

An additional thought - I'm not quite sure how to fit this into the race horse theory but great-grandfather Trump was a pimp with a brothel during the Gold Rush. Sorry, I'm just not that good at genetics like Don Jr.

To Jimbo: sadly I have to pick #3 as what will happen: the usual. Bupkiss, Zip, Zilch, Zero, Nada, no consequences.

I would love to be 100% wrong but doubt it.

Now where'd I put that tumbrel grease...?

After any and all superior race(s) and superior genetic individuals weed out the impure.

What comes next is how they gauge their superiority over the other superiors.

In a venture of devolving into dog eat dog. Or in their case Tick sucks blood from tick.

You think Hitler would ever nominate a Rick Perry with a Bachelor degree of Animal Science from Texas A&M, a motorized certificate of completion from his church on Creationism. Would Hitler nominate A "Rick" to nuclear research for the bomb or would he turn to nuclear scientists?

Well, History tells us what Hitler did and in the present time we see what Donny decided with his Rick Perry.
So superiority from Hitler's era to Trump's superiority era have there differences of underperforming.

It's 11:40 eastern Tuesday July 11th and Don jr. has sent out ANOTHER tweet that implicates himself, and now apparently a new member of dad's staff. I am now convinced this is all an experiment in Driftglass' cartoon of the stick figure conservative & the handgun.
