Amy Lindsay has appeared in films such as Erotic Confessions, Carnal Wishes, Secrets of a Chambermaid, and Insatiable Desires. “Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad,” a Cruz campaign spokesman told BuzzFeed News.

Prior to the Cruz campaign pulling the ad, Lindsay told BuzzFeed News in a phone interview on Thursday that she’s a Christian conservative and a Republican. While she emphasized that she did not do hardcore porn and that she also appeared in non-erotic films, Lindsay said she thinks it is “cool” that an actor who has appeared in softcore porn could also appear in Cruz’s ad.
Also Jane Lynch is a comic genius.

Assuredly, I would end up with an itchy rash of blasphemy if I comment any further on this.
There is an amazing number of porn / soft-core actors who are Republicans or Libertarians.
That said, I have no problem if Cinemax decides to host an Amy Lindsay marathon in her honor. After hours, obviously.
Great clip! Jane Lynch is indeed a genius. All of Christopher Guest's mockumentaries hold up extremely well, still terribly funny.
Jane Lynch is indeed a comic genius along with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and the whole crew who brought us not just "A Mighty Wind" but "Best in Show" and several others. I mean, thank goodness. You gotta get away from politics sometimes. In fact think I'll go watch one of them now!
(It would be pretty awesome if they did a mockumentary about the elections though.)
