I've been taking for granted that Don Draper is going to have an epiphany and come to grips with his problems. I wonder if my assumption is correct. Don Draper is surrounded by death and I realized abruptly that Meghan was right about him; he is a sad, sloppy old liar. What do you think the odds are that the show ends with him finally buckling under?

I think that in the first two years of the show, if you would have asked Weiner to write the ending, he would have had Don re-enacting the animated opening with him actually jumping from a high window.
..but now that the show has become the definition of iconic, and after all the shit he took over the Sopranos ending, he is going to to re enact the opening in the most on the nose metaphor imaginable.
Think about it.
