George Stephanopoulos Puts a Cherry on Top

Of the bullshit parfait that is his Sunday gasbag show:
And in our “Sunday Spotlight,” the founder of security contractor Blackwater USA Erik Prince discusses his new book, “Civilian Warriors: The Inside Story of Blackwater and the Unsung Heroes of the War on Terror.”
Because nothing says, "Fuck yeah, there's a Club and fuck no, you're not in it." more emphatically than the sight of a major American teevee network helping a straight-up, butchering, megalomaniac thug line his pockets just a little bit further.

The trouble with the 27% nutbags is they're all stupid enough to think they're in the club; or that if they keep sucking up to the powerful they'll be guests let into the club any minute now.

George's view: A bad website launch to provide people access to healthcare is just like another president leaving thousands of people stranded and dying in New Orleans. But promoting a book by a murderous mercenary group is perfectly fine. Stephanopolous is in competition with David Gregory for biggest d-bag in news now.

A bit OT, but while channel surfing I landed accidentally on Meet The Press as they were displaying the "Hilary's Nightmare" (Elizabeth Warren) photo shop New Republic um, appropriated from your "Being John Maverick". Thought you'd like to know if you didn't already. Of course I quickly moved on with my surfing.
