Stupid Shit Andrew Sullivan Says, Ctd.

This is how Mr. Sullivan now frames this election:

The Tory vs The Randian.

Since the day he started collecting a paycheck for putting pen to paper and opining about the American political system, Mr. Sullivan's deepest and most maddening flaw -- the one that has led him down one bloody, ridiculous rat hole after another -- has been his absolute inability to comprehend the wind, sun and soil basics of this country.  Over and over again, the same historical, cultural and political realities of the United States keep coming as huge surprises to him, and his ongoing inability to grasp the fundamentals of American Conservatism and American Liberalism borders on mental illness.

Over and over again, the World's Best Blogger sails obliviously down the wrong side of the road.  Over and over again he slams into oncoming traffic, and over and over again he wonders loudly why all those other people keep getting everything wrong. 

The day that Andrew Sullivan or David Frum or David Brooks any other Buckley-come-lately Conservative Apostate finally admits that all of their recent, breathless epiphanies about their Party and movement amount to nothing more than what the average Liberals has been saying for +30 years is the day I will start to get interested in anything these hacks-for-hire have to say about anything.
