AP Tells Staff

To stop picking on the stoopid kids.

From Romenesko: (with a h/t to Anna Tarkov):

AP ORDERS STAFF TO STOP TAUNTING NEWS OUTLETS FOR GETTING HEALTH CARE RULING WRONG

An Associated Press editor tells staff that taunting other news outlets is “not the impression we want to reflect as an organization. Let our reporting take the lead.”
...

Someone needs to remind AP that Gresham's Law applies every bit as much to bad journalism as it does to bad money.

"Let our reporting take the lead"

One way they can take the lead is to report, as straight news, the biggest straight news story of the century - that republicans are objectively wrong about nearly everything.

They'd scoop everyone - rushing out the story 30 years after the fact instead of 300.
