The Specter at the Banquet

Miss Me Yet?

In 2004, 62,040,610 of our fellow Americans voted to renew their subscription to the The Bicycle Chief and the Worst Administration in History.

We told them it would wreck the place. We told them it would break the nation's back. We told them it would take a generation to clean up the mess they were in the process of underwriting.

They told us that were dirty, foul-mouthed, America-hating surrender monkeys.

Now, two short years after the Worst Administration in History shambled off to the scented crypt of yesterday, those same fuckers who stripped the flesh off of Liberty to make drum-skins for George W. Bush and Company now swear on the graves of their ancestors that they never even heard of the guy.

That recorded time began on January 20, 2009 and before that all was darkness and chaos.

They're entire strategy for seizing power once again for long enough to finish this country off once and for all depends on a conspiracy of forgetting...forgetting...forgetting.

And no matter how many pearls it may cause to be clutched to powder, I for one have no intention of letting their depraved past slip softly and silently away.

Next Up: David Brooks wrote a column. Oh boy!

The country is beyond brain dead. It's like someone pissed in your face every day for eight years, you finally get rid of them, but then it's sunny for a day so you invite them in to take a crap on your head. I just don't get it. Republicans are evil. And I mean that, sincerely--evil in the way the nazi regime was evil.

No, don't let them forget. The (inadequate) Obama stimulus added a relatively tiny fraction to the increase in the deficit. The rest came from the Bush tax cuts, the Bush war, and the Bush Great Recession.

After hearing "but, but, but, Clintooooonnnnn" for 8 horrible fucking years it just kills me to hear "Why are you still blaming this shit on Bush". We are doomed.

I like Sad Iron's and Major Mel's personas.

They should visit more often.
