Bonus Professional Left Broadcast Stuff

Today, Blue Gal and I were guests on Mike Moon's "A Public Affair" program on WORT: the mighty Liberal blowtorch of Madison, WI (89.9 on your FM dial.)

We had a fine time with Mike talking about theocracy, media and Progressive strategies for global conquest (I think. I have a cold and the details are a little hazy) and appeared right after BBC headline news at about five minutes past the end of the hour.

If you'd like to give it a listen, a direct like to their archived MP3 is here.

And the link to the archive page from which you can either listen to or download the show is here (look for "A Public Affair" from Monday, January 3, 2011.)

Many thanks to Mike, his callers and his crack team of technicians for making this happen.

Great show! And this:
"...we waste our time trying to reach the Right, because they are GONE..."

is 100% right on!

You guys are too good for Nice Polite Republicans. Now, a talk show on the lines of Democracy Now or your own show on LinkTV? That would be awesome!

Thanks for talking to and about us. We're not the reprogrammable, brainwashed right. And we believe int he America that should be... the one that brings forth the promises made at the founding.

Oh where to start...

WORT MUST have you back on. To actually talk about "blog against theocracy".

That you didn't really get into that subject is indicative of the daunting challenge to progressivism.

If there was ONE thing or even a manageable take `em on, knock `em down to-do list... but there's not. It's an unending list to which shit is added daily and from which every "solution" is compromised, half-baked and/or laden with disclaimers. Rendered into meaninglessness that's inapplicable to the problem it is alleged to address.

The entire interview spurred another hundred or so choke points.
and thoughts.
Frex, the interruption to report on the rally.
The recapper mentioned that Milwaukee was acutely hit by this recession. Could that have been by deliberate design? I know that may sound tinfoil-hattish, but...

Clearly there are titanic forces at play. Who's to say what is or is not within their influence. We hear about the trillions on the sidelines (waiting for more tax cuts?)

By cornering the market on fear and hope, the spigot end is subject to manipulation for tactical advantage.

Yeah, we're talking monopoly and anti-trust on nine-dimensions, but isn't that the likely outcome of consolidation on the scale we've witnessed?

Doesn't that explain why big, bad, government is powerless to fix anything? And why grass-roots outrage can't get traction? If it gets to hot? wag the dog. Distract the marks.

Excuse me, I hear the word laboratory paging me...
