It probably shouldn't bother me as much as it does that the central MacGuffin of "Lost" looks and acts so much like the central MacGuffin of
"Hot Tub Time Machine".

Yeah, the end of the actual "island" storyline was kind of meh. The end of the "sideways universe" storyline, though, was satisfying - emotionally, if not so much intellectually.

I'm embarrassed and a bit more than sad to admit that I had to see this out of my unrestrained Cusackaphilia.
I was sad they didn't do something waaaaayyy more creative with the thought, but then I read someone's review who deemed it the Woodstock moment for the 80's teens.
Yuk.
