A woman once said I had Paul Newman eyes. It knocked me out. If he ever did anything less than terrific, I never saw it. "The Outrage" with Claire Bloome, and Laurence Harvey, the westernized version of Roshamon still shines in my memory.
rifty, if you'd like to apply your skills to another project, like the one below, it occurs to me that serious damage could ensue from shopping Bombin' Johnnie's face onto South Park's "Cartman", and you'd be the perfect one to attempt it. Cf., my modest blog on the subject...
Mr. Glass, I was a Paul Newman fan from the time he riveted me to my seat in The Hustler along with the irrepressible Jackie Gleason as savvy, unbeatable old pro, "Minnestoa Fats." His subsequest movie triumphs are almost too numerous to mention...but EVERYBODY knew those famous blue eyes!
He was one of our finest actors, a proud liberal, a philanthropist and--whoda thunk it?--a whale of a cook! The recipes for his Newman's Own food products were all created by him in his own kitchen!
This guy was almost too good to be true. RIP, Mr. Newman; I miss you already...

Kewl is Paul N. From Le Man's to the swamps. From Tin Cats And Hot Roofs . . . he was kewl.
And the best.
And as a hooman, many pale for his time on the planet.
Damn he was good. . . . what a human. Bless him and his 83 spins on this rock . . bless Joanne, and the family, too. All gifts to the species. All.
