"A gentle word

turneth away wrath

but grievous words

stir up anger."
Proverbs 15:1

Remember, no head butting, eye gouging, biting, Roving, kicking, Atwatering, misrepresenting, or groin whamming in the cliches.

Have a good, clean, fight, may the strongest candidate come out ahead, and may all of us benefit by a lively and passionate old school debate.

A little something in support of Blue Gal's "week-long, sincere, support/prayer vigil for the Democratic Party Blogswarm."

At this point I think the Clinton campaign considers itself on the ropes, and believes that anything other than low blows is tantamount to throwing in the towel.

She had a chance to stop her staff from doing this shit, with her final comments at the last debate as a transition, but she has not taken the opportunity. I defended her after the last debate, but that has turned out to be probably misguided.

Thanks, hon. I haven't made a big deal about this but it means a lot to me that you noticed.

"in the cliches" instead of "in the clinches" is pretty damn funny whether you wrote it that way on purpose or not.

Nice posts, everyone.

Except, about a week premature.

I have kind words for her when she withdraws, gracefully.

After the RoveSmear attempt on Obama by her staff, which she should have utterly disowned, but instead, couldn't figure out why it was a big deal, she gets zero props from me until she gets out and thereby ends practically any chance that the people who've been doing this to us (with her unapologetic help) will keep doing it.

Let's hold on to the "good game, Hillary" shit until after the game is over; not while she's still running, and still refusing to disavow her staff's rightwing slagging of Obama.

Tanbark,

She said she didn't know a thing about it...as she stared at the table.

Obama handled this well.

The more viciously opponents act toward him, the more they give empirical evidence how well Obama can handle enemies without being drug down to their level. This sounds like a perfect leader to me — the direct opposite of Bush who has dumped the US into new depth of sewer in reaction to, or premeditation of, imaginary or real threat he exploits for the thugification of America.
