Speaking of Steve Gilliard, did you see his blog posting today about MoDo's latest article on Judy Miller? I think he nails Dowd's rage at Miller perfectly. Don't forget, Dowd had to run that copy past several editors before she got their seal of approval. So my guess is that she has at least the conditional support of the Times' editorial staff.
