What an embarrassment we have become.
How brazen the criminals that are destroying our country have become knowing their illiterate, hateful "base" will never hold them to account for a single fucking thing.
It's one thing to be dead-mule stupid; it's a whole other thing to actually brag about it.
That's what has changed.
Grotesque, depraved people have finally shed any sense of shame at their perversity. They lie openly. Gleefully. Lawless, spiteful, dim-witted children with nuclear weapons.
And the morons who prop them up have been bred to believe that being bigoted and fuck-all ignorant is pleasing in the eyes of God. That fresh air, common sense and causality are works of the Devil. That living with your head up your ass is a holy thing.
Sad.
Just fucking sad.

I have learned, within the last five years, to string new curse words together in a way I never could before, but I don't think that's a plus.
Patricia, it may not be a plus, but it sure releaves the anger. I cuss like a sailor, always did, but it is more therapuetic now than before. It is sad that the "soft bigotry of low expectations" has allowed Bush, Cronies and their idiotic supporters to get away with murder. I have never seen criminality and self-righteousness so entangled in such a large group of people.

The Truth in my soul is that this ENTIRE Republican run Administration and Republican Majority Congress are fucking up the present AND future of this country so badly that I'm kinda depressed about it. That's my Truth, and Driftglass speaks to that truth.
It's healthy to let that out. If you don't think the punctuation that emphasizes those points are "a plus", then you are missing the forest for the trees.
