Citizen Bolton was Never a Loyal Party Member

Back when I used to write more frequently about the peevish, self-pitying drivel generated by Mr. Andrew Sullivan, I tried to get the phrase "Pineapple Ice Cream Conservatism" going.

I was not entirely successful.

However, one of the great boons of having no boss and no affiliation with any respectable publication is that I am free to make the same questionable choices over and over again.  And so, on the occasion of blood-drunk madman John Bolton being sacked by President Stupid because Bolton's mustache irritated the Dear Leader's anus during the monthly Praise the Dear Leader cabinet meetings...

...and then being declared a Leftist unperson by Ministry of Truth Employee of the Month, Tucker Carlson --

-- I will once again note for the historical record that the terms "Conservative" and "Conservatism" mean absolutely nothing because all Conservatism is really Pineapple Ice Cream Conservatism.

From me, long ago during happier times:
Mr. Sullivan's Conservatism is identical to [David] Brooks' Moderation in that their respective ideological systems amount to little more than what is convenient and enjoyable for each man to believe at any given moment.

If Mr. Sullivan suddenly developed a taste for pineapple ice cream, within a week he would be penning columns about how "Liking Pineapple Ice Cream" is a cardinal Conservative value because of something something Edmund Burke.  If he got sick on bad Thai food, we would suddenly see a spate of columns discussing bad Thai food and how it is something that only extreme Christianists or Left Liberals would ever put in their mouths.

He is, at best, a flighty dilettante with a wealth patron and does not have the slightest fucking clue about how his adopted country works.

But of course the real question for true connoisseur of Republican factional warfare is how Hugh Hewitt, the Cyborg Sent From The Future to Destroy America, will manage to reconcile his great love of blood-drunk madman John Bolton (from the WaPo, March 23, 2018) --
John Bolton is a great addition to the White House

By Hugh Hewitt March 23 at 2:36 PM

The Beltway establishment has reacted with horror to President Trump’s appointment of John Bolton as national security adviser. Bolton, they claim, is a dangerous warmonger unfit for the office. That’s wrong. As the president’s top security aide, Bolton will be an honest broker and someone who can drive decisions through molasses-thick resistance. These qualities, plus his top-shelf intellect, make Bolton the best national security player to join Trump’s West Wing team so far...
-- with his great love of the taste of President Stupid's ass?

And the answer, of course, is that he will process this data like the whiny little defective chip-set that he is:
Because, as I might have mentioned, the terms "Conservative" and "Conservatism" mean absolutely nothing at all.

Behold, a Tip Jar!

Why, it seems like just yesterday we wondered how long it would take the far Right, after having gassing everyone not them, to start purging dues-paying party members.

Isn't that the rule, that you wait until after your anarchy has burned all the crops, before you start killing the crop arsonists?

I was quite amazed, I guess, to hear things last night like "...at least Bolton knew how our system worked and you were suppose to follow the rules..." And now he Mr. J. Bolton is considered to be a left leaning leftest lefty of the current leftyist lefty conservative leftyist lefties...

As usual Driftglass you were correct in the past and continue to be correct about conservatism/republicanism today. "-- I will once again note for the historical record that the terms "Conservative" and "Conservatism" mean absolutely nothing because all Conservatism is really Pineapple Ice Cream Conservatism." Along with "Conservatism/republicanism cannot fail only you can fail conservatism/republicanism."

Trump puts the "psycho" in psychotic, and the "un" in unfit for any job, including flushing a toilet, but just getting rid of him won't stop this current brand of conservatism...

Even Lindsey Graham seemed surprised by the answers/non-answers he was getting from the latest "white is the best color for making a government work, especially by old white guys" Trump pick for the powerful Second Circuit Court of Appeals judge pick Steven Menashi. Another conservative pick for a judgeship that can't remember what he ever said or wrote about anything...and still called "Counsel, you’re a really smart guy..." by Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.).

On and on the shit shows goes,"...the terms "Conservative" and "Conservatism" mean absolutely nothing at all."

There are many example episodes of conservative epileptic anal convulsions if left untreated puts everyone else in danger. As a Typhoid Mary carrier.

* The pass to Richard Nixon to resign his presidency in return for no accountability for his crimes. Continues to spread the disease to future Presidents.

* (R) Idaho Larry Craig after arrested for soliciting sex (gay sex) in a Minnisota airport restroom by a under cover cop being solicited by the Senator. He too, became a Democratic Senator, a Liberal.
His 100% GOP voting record was impressive.
They disowned him, condemned him. Most of all, the GOP convinced their lemurs Senator Craig was in fact a Democratic Senator. Even the Lemurs of Boise who voted republican and voted Craig -republican ticket were provided with that Typhoid Mary pill to justify to themselves and some fellow conservatives of all this because they seen it right there on the FOX and their DittoHead Oxycodine abusing voice on the radio could "believe" there lie and as long as they had enough to parrot their media feed.
They got to claim the Faith, their political ideology and fictitious positions were patriotic, superior and so more moral than thou.

It is both concerning and funny to observe the conservative compass leaders flipping the Coligula coin of both sides. calling it In the air. Once it lands, calling it again.

Conservatives will be changing their minds on the Great kavanaugh in time. When he subtracts their freedoms they did not consider at the time when, they just knew ramrodding Kavy to SCOTUS was all about rich people legal assurances and being against Democrats. Not considering Justice by our laws.
Yes, they will be able to condemn Kavy on his rulings to come as being a secret Kenyan Muslim, America hating Liberal commie gay Lord.
it is my prediction.......

Post Texas debate.
Stop looking at Senator candidates as democratic cabinet members if the Senate majority control is part of the game plan.

At a time when there is so many candidates. It is perfect time to gang up on poking Donald Goldfinger with the entire double O force. Restraining Trump to Big Macs in bed until at least 4 in the afternoon with tweeting at them all. Let it come at him from every candidate.
enrage Trump to the point he rage tweets until his thumbs bleed.
Inoculate Americans of all those best words and kindergarten name calling.

Most of all, The primary winner must pledge, to hire Colbert as one of their quick response communications commandos.
