I'm actually a big fan of civility, because manners aren't elective fripperies about salad forks or any other such horseshit, they are a tool to suppress the homicide rate as the population density rises.
But embedded in the tool is the necessity of understanding when it is appropriate. Like any marginally useful tool, manners can be misused with catastrophic results, and the likelihood of such misuse rises inversely with the measure of the good faith behind their employ.
Read that: goddamn Republicans need to shut the fuck up about them.
Now, like Paul Newman in "The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean" I would like to point out a few of the things Mr. Ossoff did not say:
One: She looks like Ivanka.
Two: If she is the typist for Fergus' social media posts, what about the posts that are made in the wee hours of the morning from the residence?
Three: She is far more likely to actually be his caregiver than his mistress.
I'll stop. Not out of civility, because fuck that, but because the "b" and "n" keys on this laptop still don't work and listing more of these just isn't worth the effort.
Thank you again for the podcast. Fergus has just suggested military intervention in the bond markets.
He needs to be institutionalized as an act of mercy and national security.
