The Ragin' Cajon had his usefulness in his peak days. Like too many who with time age out and find themselves grasping for their last spotlight. My problem with these folks is that they were pl to make their case on behalf ( In Carville's case), give the democratic message.
Speaking on behalf of someone that pays you is the paid speech the SCOTUS ruled, (Citizens United), to allow paid lies. Sort of like approving paid assassination. To assassinate truth and reality for con and greed.
Karoline Leavitt is a prime example. A divot self proclaimed Christian accepts pay to break the commandment of bearing false witness. She sold her reputation of being faithful to Jesus to lie for pay./

When I first read what Carville said, I immediately put up a comment saying "I don't know who Hasan Piker is, but I'm fairly certain that I could put up with the motherfucker if doing so means that James the fuck Carville is gone from the Democratic party."
He does get in the occasional good line, like when he said that Fergus looked like "the backside of a nutsack" but that has long since ceased to validate his position as a Democratic anything, much less some sort of spokesman.
Since he made his bones attaching himself to a once in a generation political talent and pretending to be some sort of political genius, couldn't he be surgically grafted to David Axelrod and given a nice sinecure somewhere away from the damage zone?

Answer: the Earth is flat. This is because for most of human history the evidence of one's own eyes was at one time misread due to a lack of knowledge about the Earth we live on. However, even the ancients figured out that Earth was round -- the smarty-thinky ones, anyway.
