One of the things elected republican in congress benefit of their Orangutan leader is, they allow him to make decrees, Exec Orders and simple word of mouth orders to make the dirty rotten changes. While they sit back and pretend it is the prez that is doing all this and not them. Congress has the authority to tax and they know it. yet they act tike they are helpless as Prez imposes Tariffs, for example. The prez forces issues to SCOTUUS for his right wing 6 majority can make activist GOP rulings to make law which is congresses place.
They are using this in their midterm election campaigns.
They aren't responsible for all the corruption in the white house. They didn't slap tariff taxes on Americans. They aren't responsible for the trillions being added to the national debt because they are fiscal conservatives even if their leader is not.
Notice, they vote to waive congress's authority on war powers and their Prez can continue to not provide congressional briefs and info on the military's goals and end game.
So why does a GOP Prez need a congress? Why do tax payers fund GOP congress members pay, health care, pension, travel expenses?.
