I find it amazing that the people who have railed for many years how they hate big government and want an unintrusive small government. Will do anything to get in government to control it. Once they are in government and in control of it.
they do everything they can to stay in it and keep it big and intrusive. Intrusive and nig the way they want it.. Which usually means, steal as much as they can, entrench themselves and others that will do the same. Oh yeah, they are the same ones that scream and demand obeying the constitution and undermine that constitution in everyway that will serve their purposes to stay in control and use government to intrude on they lives of those they perceive as their enemies. Real and imagined.
Same people that scandalize and smear others, accuse them of every unconceived conspiracy are the same ones that are actually guilty of what they accuse.
Equally amazing is the people that see and hear and watch the same thing I do and can still find their way to support these people, vote them into power only to complain about government when it gites them. Not when it bites others.
Unable to put my finger on it. I have listened to the El Rusbo, watched the FOX and heard the Joe Rogan's. But, find them lacking of depth of isues. They are like the exposed surface of an Iceberg as if nothing of that iceberg exists below the water line. There again, I do not listen in to such things for guidance and convincing conversion to their influenced views. They are paid to spew propaganda.
To think someone could listen to Joe Rogan and be influenced and reassured in Rogan world thinking that allows them the ack of reason to vote for the same people I described above that hates big government.
For a simplified example of that hate.
Religious right groups (more like cults) hate government that allows them to exist and now with some inside government influence, they want government to do their bidding and give their religion the government established religion by law to obey and make them the all powerful Oz or like the Iran's Khomeini.
They would despise and hate it if others tried to make their beliefs unlawful and a crime to pursue. It does enhance my understanding of how in the Bible, Jesus ended up crucified.
