Catiline Conspiracy! Extra points for this reference. Catiline was the Trump of his day. It’s one of those times where it’s worthwhile to have an appropriate beverage and read Sallust’s writing about the coup Catiline was planning. Here’s a taste… “ The young men, whom, as I said before, he [Catiline] had enticed to join him, he initiated, by various methods, in evil practices. From among them he furnished false witnesses, and forgers of signatures; and he taught them all to regard, with equal unconcern, honor, property, and danger. At length, when he had stripped them of all character and shame, he led them to other and greater enormities. If a motive for crime did not readily occur, he invited them, nevertheless, to circumvent and murder inoffensive persons, just as if they had injured him; for, lest their hand or heart should grow torpid for want of employment, he chose to be gratuitously wicked and cruel.”
Backman, Palin and the Paul Ryan, Damn if you aren't walking through the valley of the demented crazy memory lane. A highly toxic slushy path that requires thick knee high rubber boots and a Full face gas mask to protect from the fumes of burning defecation. There should be a warning of what personal protective equipment is require to listen in. I am getting impatient with the Liberals in the future. Who should have came up with a vaccine for those infected with the Zombie conservatism virus and hop in the DeLorean and bring that vaccine back to us.
This seems like an opportune time to consider the way Republicans utterly fail to remember the messes they have made while they make more similar messes. Perhaps Eisenhower doesn't deserve to be lumped in with the Republicans who later occupied the white house, but the lesson in regime change consequences should have been learned by all iterations of the US government. But no. Operation Epstein Fury most likely won't turn out to kill as many people as the destruction of USAID, but it is nevertheless a murderous, retarded fit thrown to distract attention away from the evidence that Fergus raped teenaged girls. The way I remember it, Jon Stewart occasionally stood up for Michele Bachmann against attacks on her appearance, but did once refer to Marcus Bachmann as "Someone who buys Brawny paper towels for the packaging." Thank you again for the podcast, and happy birthday to youngest child. The state of the confederacy speech was too much. I never watch them anyway, it's not like I can avoid the content of them in my daily travels on the internet, so I don't feel like I'm gonna miss anything important. I already know what the rat bastard is going to say, and *stop the presses* that's exactly what he said for 100 plus minutes that I would never get back...
King Dong is going to award himself the medal of honor for his bravery. His sacrifice enduring those Brain spurs is deserving of the Purple Heart that he will E.O. to be made of Gold for his sacrifice like no one else would believe.
