How do we separate this country between the morons and the rest of us?

The whole atmosphere must be disinfected from all taint of opposition to slavery, before they will cease to believe that all their troubles proceed from us."
Replace 'slavery' with 'fascism' and you get the situation in a nutshell.
"A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved - I do not expect the house to fall - but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.
We've done this already. Apparently we've forgotten the lesson, and so remedial action is needed, in one way or another.
