Odd(?) fact of life that charlatans like Greenwald, Gabbard and apparently Fetterman rise to prominence and then steadily and irreversibly drift right until at least past the "center". A few who start on the right will feint briefly towards the center but they'll come home again once the coast is clear.

How many paid staffers does the House and senate need to write and read the legislative bills. And pay them health care for them and families?
Does congress really need a paid Chaplain or a on site doctor to provide fee medical care in the capital building everyday?
