For whatever it's worth - and I understand the answer is probably "Not very fuckin' much!" - the dam seems to have, if not broken, then at least sprung some major leaks over at the NYT. Their digital front page as of a few moments ago had a peppering of Opinion pieces all uniformly negative towards DJT, plus a warning story from Maggie Haberman "warning" of "Donald Trump's Plan for a Radical Reshaping of American Government."
Too little, too late, and the Times can't flush away the stench of all its prior perfidy (which, to be sure, has not ended and won't end after 11/5/24) - but at least they're starting to get serious about saying negative things about Trump. Will it make much difference? Doubt it. Still, I'll take it. As Jamison Foser advised us - the Times, regardless of any criticism, will persist in doing most big things badly. But determined pushback from readers can drive small changes in the margins. At least unless the paper capsizes (very unlikely), that's likely all we can achieve - but it's still worth achieving when the alternative is, through inaction, permitting the Times to be a cheerful stenographer and tacit cheerleader for conservative malfeasance.

Pertaining to Donny's , "contaminating the blood". You merely have to observe Don's children Oday and Kosai to conclude his immigrant wife contaminated that blood line more than it was to begin with.
