Impeachment? That's what GOP controlled houses do when they have the votes. Having the votes is what competent speakers do (see also: Pelosi, Nancy). Threatening violence is what the GOP does, like a toddler throwing a tantrum. I'm not afraid of GOP violence, having actually lived through real violence and still being in the possession of the ability to recognize it when I see it. That won't help the poor motherfuckers who might get shot by some MAGA moron with an AR15, but I really don't have anything to help them, so I'll continue to keep myself and my loved ones out of the line of fire, something I have every confidence in being able to do. Never licked a toad. Don't know anybody who has. Do know scads of users of every drug imaginable, and a few not all that imaginable. Poor rock musician stuff. Did meet some tourists running away from the Mill Pond because they "heard a bear", when what they in fact heard were bullfrogs. After that we called them bearfrogs for a while. They live in the water that you can see in the Otto the goose picture. Thank you again for the podcast. It snowed a little and rained a lot, and I can hear someone outside singing, or perhaps playing a recording of someone singing, it's too damn cold out there to go find out. Briana is back down in the East Bay working on our move, so it's just me and the cat holding down the fort again. Progress is being made, and that is a hopeful thing.

You are correct about Mitt Romney. He ran--and lost--against Ted Kennedy in 1994.
