Jordan's bid bit the big one, now zillions of little MAGA morons want to run.
Not that any of them could do the damn job at gunpoint, but think of all the content they could create for Fox News...
Biden has a hard job threading the Gaza needle, but linking the aid for Israel to the aid for Ukraine has a use beyond just maybe getting through a dysfunctional congress: Our aid (our coalition's aid, but mostly our aid) has allowed the Ukrainian army to fend off what was supposed to be the second or third most powerful military in the world for more than a year now. That underscores the responsibility Israel has in using such aid. It's already hideously lopsided, I know, which is why our aid to Israel is 90% political, but if our names are on even a little of it, they have to act more humanely, like more than 20 fucking truckloads to support 2 million people.
I'm hella glad that I don't have to make those decisions, and by extension, am hella glad that Joe Biden is making them. I may not agree with every call, but I have faith that he is a fundamentally decent human being and that if I had all of the information he did, I would at least understand his calls better.
Thank you again for the podcast. When we had to give Littlebeast a deworming pill, we tried every approach the vet and the internet had to offer with no success. Finally, we bought one of those Nulo squeezable treats and coated the pill with the goo. He very carefully licked all of the goo off of the pill and left it in his bowl. Then it seemed to dawn on him what was happening and he went back to his bowl and licked up the pill and swallowed it.
