Professional Left Podcast Episode #733

"I was one of the many horses pulling the wagon and couldn't escape left or right because of the will of the driver. "   --   Adolf Eichmann...or every elected Republican 10 minutes after Trump dies?

Dude,

Please tell me that you did this podcast BEFORE the Bradblog one with Digby. You don't pod-cheat on YOUR WIFE about the Trump indictment...even if it's Digby.

UNLESS you and Ms. Gal have a list of hall-passes on whom you can podcast with before your spouses, should the situation arise. Like, Ms. Gal lets you pod with Digby if you let her pod with Charlie Pierce.

Best to you and your loved ones...unless you cheated on Ms. Gal. :(

Mother ship? I hope George Clinton sues them all, or better yet doses their asses. For all of the breathless media bullshit this week, there were actually a few gleaming exceptions, mostly by bloggers, like Margaret and Helen who spent a long and glorious post comparing Fergus to a hemorrhoid.
https://margaretandhelen.com/2023/08/04/trump-is-a-hemorrhoid/
And to think that I had thought of him as a perfect asshole...
So at his arraignment, the judge informed Fergus of his rights and the conditions of his release. He may have the right to remain silent, but not the ability, and his stupid, stupid "Truth Social" post threatening retribution has already got the DOJ to ask for a protective order. The judge, who is not known for suffering fools gladly, gave Fergus' counsel until 5PM Monday to respond.
Which sent them into a tizzy of "this kind of thing will lessen the chances for a settlement that would avoid the judge having to issue such an order."
...AAAnd I just read that the judge has denied their complaint and told them to have it ready by 5PM Monday. These brain-wizards are fucking attorneys, have they ever met a goddamn judge?
Perhaps now they will meet one IRL, as the kids say.
Thank you again for the podcast. The cat has murdered another flying squirrel, whose tail fluoresces pink under UV light. Don't even ask why we shined UV on the tail of a deceased squirrel, as I have no cogent response at the ready.
